About Us

JARED/Owner – Has been involved in the Horticulture Industry for over 25 years and been running A&D Landscaping since 2001. Jared graduated from BYU Idaho with an Associate’s Degree in Horticulture, and received a Bachelors in Horticulture with an emphasis in Landscape Construction from Utah State University. He has also completed a Masters in Landscape Business Management with the American Nursery and Landscape Association. Jared is certified in interlocking concrete pavement installation through the ICPI, and in retaining wall construction through the NCMA. He has been involved in the estimating, construction and the design aspects of all types of commercial and residential projects. Jared manages operations and has been involved with A & D Landscaping since 1997. Jared oversees sales, bidding & estimating and general daily operations.

CRAIG/Owner — Has been involved in the horticulture industry with both a retail garden center and a landscape construction company for nearly 40 years. He has served as the President of the Utah Nursery and Landscaping Association (UNLA) and as a State Senator for the American Nursery and Landscaping Association. Craig has also taught courses on plant science-horticulture, landscape management, landscape design, and pest management at Utah State University over the last 20 years. 

JEFF PALMER — Jeff has been involved with A & D Landscaping since 2004 and has gained a great deal of experience in the construction industry over the last 20 years.  Jeff has installed several large commercial projects throughout the state and has also constructed large residential projects in Jackson Hole, Bear Lake, and throughout northern Utah and southern Idaho.  Jeff has a strong background in irrigation installation, design, and has extensive experience in water feature construction, and structural elements within the landscape.  Jeff sees that quality workmanship is provided on each project we perform and oversees daily landscape operations within our company.

STEVE FORD — Steve came to A&D after completing his bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Business Management from Utah State University. Steve has worked on a variety of projects and excels at providing clients with personalized designs tailored to their interests, style and budget. Steve has worked on design projects throughout Utah and southern Idaho and is currently working on becoming a licensed Landscape Architect.

MATTHEW HICKEY — Matthew has many years of experience operating a variety of heavy equipment. He completed trade school in St. George Utah as a Diesel Technician (for over the road trucks and heavy equipment) Prior to coming to A&D Landscaping, he was a Heavy Equipment Operator in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He has experience in operating and handling excavators, bulldozers, road graders, cranes, skid steers, log skidders, backhoes and roller compactors. He has been part of our A&D Landscaping Team since 2021 and we love that he is on board!

SARAH KARREN — Office Manager

Sarah graduated from Utah State University in Logan Utah with her BA in 2006 in Elementary Education. She has several years of experience managing in an office setting from Title Companies, Construction Companies and now a Landscaping Company. She has been with A&D Landscaping since 2017 and is VERY glad to call Cache Valley her home again.

JEREMY WYATT — Foreman, Sprinkler Repair Division 

Jeremy started his landscaping career beginning at Utah State University in Logan Utah at the age of 15 and continued there becoming the Irrigation Manager until 2010. He then worked at the Cache County Fairgrounds in their Maintenance Dept. where he maintained the grounds and irrigation as well as kept the equipment in running order until 2012. He has been with A&D Landscaping as our Sprinkler Repair Foreman since 2013.

RAMON TORRES — Foreman, Landscape and Sprinkler Installation 

Ramon Torres has been with A&D Landscaping for 20 years working the last 15 years as a Crew Foreman. He specializes in our large commercial and residential projects.  His experience coupled with his hard work ethic has made him a valuable part of our team.  Ramon helps us keep jobs moving and on budget with a great eye for detail.  He is a great asset to our company with his vast experience and many years of knowledge.

BENNETT ANDERSON — Foreman, Hardscapes Division 

Bennett has been with A&D Landscaping since 2019 and is great!  We appreciate his hard work ethic and constant positivity in our company which is very contagious. He is currently a student at Utah State University in Logan Utah, has 5 years experience in construction and landscaping behind him as well as several ICPI education courses.
